Le voyage

The difference between traveling across Europe and travel, for example around the United States are the options when browsing Europe. The train ride is always a great way to go between cities and within almost any city public transportation is excellent. However, there may be times when the best option is to rent a car and drive. There are many rental options, but there are some things to keep in mind when deciding on car trips.

1. Driving in big cities. Commercial cities like Rome, Paris or London, and others can be very annoying. These cities have not been established as most US cities, particularly those in the Midwest or West who are truly built to travel by car. European centers of the city can be a nightmare, as the roads often cut; you really know where it goes. I always recommend in major European cities to forget the car and take public transportation.

2. Travel between cities. If your goal is simply to get from one city to another, from short distances by rail is the way to go. Almost always a lot of time will be saved because stations are located in urban centers. At longer distances air travel is the way to go, although airports are usually quite far from the city center.

3. Some countries are better to drive than others. When visiting cities in Europe to northern Denmark, Sweden and Norway will find them fly the environment. And others like Amsterdam have huge amounts of cyclists should consider. But since people travel by bicycle at least it will keep some of the cars from the road.

4. When a car is going to work. There are beautiful landscapes to be known in Europe, and see that the car can be a great way to go. In addition, small towns are usually pretty easy to navigate. Like everywhere, you should know where you are going, and often in these cities, which is excellent for walking, so always keep that option open.

5. Understand the barriers of driving in the British Isles. Unlike continental Europe where everyone wears on the right side as in America, the British Isles everyone drives on the left side (or you will be as called, on the wrong side). You should never be intimidated by this, but you also have to be aware at all times. Over time, believe it or not, you get used to it.
